Belle Phoenix (independent * self-funded)
Born in a Sydney home recording studio and inspired by impermanence & alchemy.
Belle spent days in what she calls her "Cave" recording 10 songs for an album she named "The Glorious Dead" an album taking you through armageddon guitars, haunting backing vocals that
intertwine with orchestral sensibilities. Belle's voice is distinct & at times threatens to blow your speakers apart while ever so gently seducing you with its warm womanly wiles.
She would fly to NYC and Toronto in mid winter snow season to collaborate & record with musician friends she met over the internet after sending demo recordings back and forth.
She named the band "The Monster Voodoo Machine" a monument to the style and energy of their playing.
To help fund her musical path she is busking & working in Sydney as waitress & selling copies of the freshly baked album on a website her friend created www.BellePhoenix.com.
